WILL I RECEIVE PERSONALIZED FEEDBACK FROM BETHANY?
Yes and no. The Writer's Map is a group learning program and while I won't provide feedback during the course itself, you'll be able to ask questions and, especially during the Membership Phase, you'll get assistance from not only me but very talented, awesome guest mentors. And if you pay in full, you'll receive a very fun, private consultation with me where we can go over your story and your specific questions about it.
But, you won't receive mark ups on your manuscript or edits from the mentors or myself.
Let me assure you, you absolutely won't be in a vacuum. You'll have access to the exclusive Membership just for students, plus during the live round classes themselves, you'll also be able to chat with fellow students there, too. And trust me, it's so much fun and past writers are still in touch with people they've met in class!
DO I HAVE TO BE TECH SAVVY TO JOIN?
As long as you have internet access and an email, you’re good! Once you enroll, you'll receive an email with your login instructions and portal link. After that, as long as you stay in good standing, you're all set!
WILL THIS WORK FOR ME IF I'M A NEW WRITER or a non-fiction writer?
I LOVE my new writers, but the Writer's Map is advanced. It's for writers who've completed some manuscripts and feel comfortable with the basics. Can you enroll as a new writer? OF COURSE! But I want to make sure you're not overwhelmed or feeling behind. So please reach out with any questions.
As for my non-fiction peeps. I love you too, but this is definitely geared toward fiction stories.
WHAT DO YOU NOT COVER IN THE COURSE?
I personally do not cover how to set up indie publishing accounts, kickstarter campaigns for authors or anything relating to legal, insurance or taxes.
I also won't cover how to be productive or give advice on accountability. I've got a seperate course for that!
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Once you sign up, you'll be able to join the Kick Off Call on Sunday, August 10 and then you'll have access to Module 1, Lesson 1. If after those two experiences that you feel the Writer's Map is not for you, then you can request a full refund.
However, after that time, no refunds will be given for any reason.
IF I CAN'T MAKE A SESSION, WILL THERE BE REPLAYS?
